The One and Only Perfect Gift

perfect-gift-3.jpgThe perfect gift! You would like to receive it. You would like to give it. You read the ads; you look through the catalogs. Unfortunately, there is no perfect gift–at least not in any store.

There is only one perfect gift. It gives more happiness than any other gift. It is so deep that it endures through the worst of times. It has meaning for every age and in every situation.
The perfect gift is a personal relationship with Jesus, the only son of God.
This gift is free because Jesus paid the price to offer us this relationship. Isaiah 53:5 says of Jesus: “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
This gift is the reason Christmas is celebrated. If you know Jesus, telling others about him is the greatest gift you can give them. If you do not know Jesus, take a few minutes in this busy season to think about the perfect gift-a personal relationship with Jesus:
1. Jesus loves you and cares about you. He comes to you with an invitation: In Matthew 11:28 Jesus says: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
2. Jesus wants a personal relationship with you. You can have this relationship by confessing your sins, turning from your selfish ways and asking Jesus to come into your heart. He never turns away those who seek him.
3. A relationship with Jesus will change your life beyond anything you can imagine. Jesus says in John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
If you want to know Jesus Christ, believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. And then ask him into your heart. He is the perfect gift. If you will accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, please pray this prayer with all of your heart:
Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.
Congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour!
Remember, friend, Believe by faith. Share the faith. and Keep the faith!
