Bishop I.V. Hilliard Resigns from Council Chosen to Pick Zachery Tims’ Successor

It was announced that the new pastor of New Destiny Christian Center would be announced New Year’s Eve. As the church eagerly awaits to confirm a new leader, one leader selected to help the church find Tims’ replacement is speaking out against the process.

The Bishop’s Committee Council was constructed to aid in the process of helping the church to install a new pastor in wake of the late Dr. Zachery Tims’ untimely passing.

“I was asked to be apart of a four bishop council, a committee of four bishops that would give wisdom and council and guidance to the board during their selection process,” Hilliard said.
