Rev. Billy Graham was admitted to the hospital Wednesday with a possible case of pneumonia.
Graham was taken to the Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C., for treatment of his lungs, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association reported on the organization’s website.
He was said to be alert, smiling and waving at the hospital staff when he went in for treatment.
Graham’s personal physician, Dr. Lucian Rice, said the 93-year-old evangelist is in stable condition. He was previously treated for pneumonia in May.
