Just a few hours after he requested his release from the Minnesota Vikings, who waived him Thursday afternoon, QB Donovan McNabb appeared at halftime of NFL Network’s Eagles-Seahawks telecast.
Asked if he has a notion where he might end up — Chicago? Houston? — McNabb said: “There’s no idea of where the next destination is.”
As to whether he thought many teams might be interested in claiming him during the waiver period that ends at 4 p.m. ET Friday, McNabb quipped: “Yeah, all 31 teams. I don’t know, I’ve never been through this process.
“The only thing that you can do is just be prepared for any- and everything. And when the time comes, and when the phone rings, you know, sit down and contemplate obviously the pros and cons and go from there.”
If he is not claimed, he can sign with the team of his choosing.
