But this week, he’s gaining attention after catching the ire of atheists and other critics who found themselves outraged over a tweet he sent on Friday.

The Philistines of Gath have been gone for nearly three millennia, but their city comes to life every morning at 6 a.m. That’s when 150 workers from more than a dozen countries arrive, bleary-eyed, and begin sifting through the refuse the Philistines left behind in an attempt to better understand the ancient inhabitants of this city and their lives here in biblical times.
