Gospel Star, Fred Hammond, to Receive 2012 Outstanding Achievement in the Arts Award

Gospel music star Fred Hammond will receive the 2012 Outstanding Achievement in the Arts Award, announced District 8 Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Tennell Atkins. The Grammy-winning Hammond, who lives in Cedar Hill, succeeds past award recipients such as actresses Regina Taylor and Irma P. Hall, and actor Eugene Lee.
