Santorum’s Loss to Romney in Illinois is his Own Fault Because he Keeps Putting his Foot in his Mouth

For once, Mitt Romney didn’t win ugly.

In
the latest in a series of showdowns with Rick Santorum, Romney easily
won the Illinois primary on Tuesday, padding his delegate lead and
quieting, at least for the moment, a wave of noisy doubts about his
candidacy. Romney was winning just under half the vote with more than 40
percent counted.

Justice Department to Investigate Death of Trayvon Martin

hcsp.jpgThe growing national attention — and outcry — over the case of an unarmed black teen in Florida who was fatally shot by a neighborhood watch captain has culminated with the federal government’s announcement that it will launch an investigation. 

Rallies like this one in Titusville were held across Florida demanding justice for Trayvon Martin, a black teenager fatally shot by a white neighborhood watch volunteer.

Highest Gas Price Recorded in March

The average price of a gallon of regular is now $3.87, the highest recorded price in March. The average price is up nearly 4 cents from a week ago, and over 30 cents from a year ago, according to the Department of Energy, as more drivers face gas prices of $4 a gallon or more across the country.
