Jakes (Let It Go — Nonfiction) and Victoria Christopher Murray and ReShonda Tate Billingsley (Sinners and Saints — Fiction) lead the bestsellers list of Black Christian authors on the March 2012 edition of the Black Christian News/Black Christian Book Company National Bestsellers List. BCNN1.com has also released the March 2012 edition of the BCNN1/Amazon.com Kindle E-book Bestsellers List. This list ranks African-American Christian e-books based upon their sales rankings in the Amazon Kindle e-book store. Also, BCNN1 is releasing the March 2012 edition of the BCNN1/Barnes & Noble Nook E-book Bestsellers List. This list ranks African-American Christian e-books based upon their sales rankings in the B&N Nook e-book store.

Where Evangelicals Are a Majority, Romney Does Not Fair that Well

hcsp.jpgMitt Romney won six out of the 11 Super Tuesday primaries, victories that followed a regional pattern from past primaries. Romney has performed best in New England and the mountain west but he has done poorly in the Midwest and even worse in the southern states. In a closely watched state, Romney edged out Rick Santorum by one percentage point in Ohio. Santorum won in Tennessee, Oklahoma, and North Dakota, and Newt Gingrich picked up a win in Georgia.

Attorney David Swerdlick says Breitbart’s Site Got It All Wrong

Magic Johnson Promises to Fill Black TV Void

hcsp.jpgWhen Comcast took a majority stake in NBC Universal, the cable giant promised to launch 10 minority-owned independent networks over a period of eight years. Making good on that commitment, it has announced that at least two will have big name African Americans at their helms, with Sean “Diddy” Combs and Earvin “Magic” Johnson on board as majority owners of unique new channels.
